We are called to love because of our relationship with God. 1 John 4:7-21 teaches that love
originates from God, and those who know Him reflect His love in their lives. Since God loves us unconditionally, we are to extend that same love to others—both within the church and beyond. Love is not just a feeling but an action that reveals God’s presence in us. When we love, we
make God’s love visible to the world. Loving others is a response to God’s love for us, a sign of His Spirit at work in us, and a reflection of our commitment to Him. True love is selfless, transformative, and the essence of what it means to follow Christ. If we claim to love God, we must love one another.
