Hello Bridge Church Family!
Pastor Rob here, and I hope this email finds you well and full of anticipation for all God has in store for us in this new year. This Sunday at 10 a.m., I want to personally invite you to join us for an incredible day of worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism, and ministry here at The Bridge Church.
This Sunday we are continuing our powerful New Year message series that we’ve been calling, "The Mount: New Year. New You. New Habits”—which is a verse-by-verse journey through Jesus’ famous Sermon on the Mount. Each week in this series, we’ve been discovering the spiritual habits that Jesus teaches that can make this year the best year yet as we live for God’s glory and the good of others.
This Sunday, I’ll be teaching from Matthew 6:1-4 in a message titled, "Daring to Give God My Best" where we’ll dive into the beauty of Christian generosity, exploring how God blesses not only those around us but also blesses us when we give. As Acts 20:35 reminds us, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” This message will inspire us all to take bold steps in honoring God with our tithes, offerings, and generosity. So, bring your Bibles and come ready to dig deeply into God’s powerful, life-changing Word!
On top of that, our worship team will also be leading us in lifting our voices to the Lord with these incredible songs:
As Psalm 122:1 reminds us, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’” So let’s come together with glad and grateful hearts to worship our great God!
Offering Sunday: Radical Generosity
In harmony with this weekend’s message, this Sunday is also Offering Sunday at The Bridge Church! Once a year, we rally together to practice radical generosity as we prepare for all the amazing things God has planned for our church. Our goal is to eliminate any current fiscal shortfall so we can step into February ready to shine brightly for Jesus in Reno and beyond. Let’s partner together to fulfill God’s purposes and live out Philippians 2:15, being “children of God… who shine like stars in the sky.”
National Spouse’s Day Celebration
Did you know this Sunday is National Spouse’s Day? To celebrate, we’ll have FREE red velvet cupcakes for everyone, a couples’ photo booth in the Welcome Center, and a special opportunity to re-commit your love to your spouse. It’ll be a fun and meaningful way to honor the married couples in our lives, and we hope you’ll join in!
Annual Meeting After Service
Finally, immediately after Sunday’s worship experience, all Bridge members are encouraged to stay for our short annual meeting. We’ll be voting on this year’s proposed budget and board members. Your voice matters, so please make plans to stick around and cast your vote! ***At the bottom of this newsletter you will find an updated infographic with detailed information on the proposed board and budget***
Bridge Family, this weekend is going to be powerful, meaningful, and filled with joy. Let’s gather with expectant hearts, ready to worship, give, celebrate, and grow together. I can’t wait to see you all on Sunday at 10 a.m. Let’s dare to live the adventurous life Jesus calls us to!

Italian Buffet Fundraiser
The Bridge Church Reno (Kids Kingdom)
Saturday February 15th 11am - 2pm
You're invited to join us for the Easter Basket Italian Buffet Fundraiser Feb 15th in the Kids Kingdom 11 am to 2 pm . There will be a full Italian menu with a Valentine's Day theme , light music and great company . It is $20 a person and all proceeds are going towards building over 1000 Easter baskets here at the Bridge Church for children in need in our community. Click here to purchase you tickets.
Kids Kingdom News:
I pray everyone has had a great week. I was gone last week, but I will be back on Sunday. I am excited to continue with our new series, "Camp Believe It" . I know Matthew had a great time with all of you. Can't wait to see everyone on Sunday. - Miss Terry
Food Pantry Update:
The Food Pantry continues to serve over 100 families on pantry days. We still need strong able bodies to assist with pick ups on Wednesdays. Times run from 12:30-3:30 in the afternoon. Thank you again for your continued support. January needs are chili and toilet paper. In His service, The Food Pantry team
