Latest from the Bridge Church
Hello there Bridge Family and Friends,
I hope this email finds you well and full of anticipation for all that God has in store for you this week! I want to personally invite you to join us this Sunday at The Bridge Church for our worship experience at 10:00 AM. No matter who you are or where you find yourself on your faith journey, The Bridge is for YOU—a place where you can belong, grow, and encounter the love of Jesus in a real and powerful way.
This past Wednesday night, we had the incredible privilege of gathering 77 people in person and 140 online for our very first VISION NIGHT! It was nothing short of amazing to see God moving so powerfully in our church family. A huge THANK YOU to Reina Rose and the Crowns of Glory Band for leading us in passionate, heartfelt worship. What a night it was as we unveiled our church’s purpose, mission, and vision for the exciting new season ahead—a season we’re calling “SHINE” (2025–2027), which is going to be a thrilling time of: passionate Worship, deepened spiritual Maturity, warm fellowship, bold Evangelism, and sacrificial Ministry to our Community and the World
If you missed Vision Night, no worries! We’ll have a VISION Area set up in the Welcome Center this Sunday where you can learn all about it.
This Sunday, we’re continuing our brand-new series, “The Mount: New Year. New You. New Habits.” In this series, we’re diving deep into Jesus’ famed Sermon on the Mount to discover the five spiritual habits that will renew and transform our lives in 2025.
Pastor Phil (our newly appointed Discipleship Pastor—congratulations, Phil!) and I will be team teaching from Matthew 6:16-18, unpacking what the Bible teaches about the spiritual habit of fasting and how it fortifies our faith. Bring your Bibles and come ready to dig into God’s Word—this is a Sunday you won’t want to miss!
This Week’s Worship Songs (which will be led by our very own Maggie Folkers and The Bridge Worship Team), are:
Love the Lord
Won’t Stop Now
Lord, I Thirst For You
Hungry
And that’s not all! Because after the service, we’re hosting our first-ever “Very, Merry, Un-Birthday” celebration in the Welcome Center. If you’ve recently had a birthday (or have one coming up), this is your chance to join the party! We’ll have cake, ice cream, birthday hats, and more. It’s going to be a blast—and it’s the perfect opportunity to invite your unchurched friends to experience the joy and love of Christ in a fun and meaningful way.
PLUS—we’ve got some HUGE and EXCITING announcements this Sunday about what’s coming up at The Bridge Church over the next few weeks. Trust me, you don’t want to miss it!
As we step into this new year, let us lean into the promise of Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
I can’t wait to worship with you this Sunday and see all that God will do in our midst. Bring your friends, your loved ones, and your Bibles, and come expectant for a powerful move of God.
See you Sunday at 10:00 AM!
With excitement and love,
Pastor Rob
