Discovering My Ministry Class

The Bridge Church Reno
If you have said yes to Jesus and have started a relationship with Him then you have been given at least one spiritual gift. This class focuses on discovering that gift as well as how you can use your talents, abilities, and past experiences all together to serve God. In this class we will develop your personal ministry profile and work towards discovering how God has uniquely shaped you to further His Kingdom. Please sign up using the connection card.

1 Share a decision that someone made that you know was a wrong choice? What happened?
2 Talk about a time that you were stuck in a difficult choice between two things?
3 Read Acts 9:1-9 Why did Paul want to go to Damascus? (A little deeper than just to arrest Christians) What was Paul’s ultimate motivation in eradicating “the Way” (Christianity)
4 How would our culture define persecution? How does the dictionary define persecution?
5 Why did Jesus ask Paul “why are you persecuting me?” Why would that have surprised Paul?
6 What would Christian’s in American define as persecution? How would Christian’s in strongly Muslim countries define persecution.
7 Read Acts 9:10-19 Have you ever been in a situation like Ananias where God asked you to do something that you hesitant to do? How did you respond?
8 How do you respond to God telling Ananias that Paul was chosen to suffer greatly for His name. List some of the ways Paul suffered for Jesus. How would you respond if called has called you to suffer for his name?
9 Share with each other what choice you need to make in order to move you relation with Jesus forward?
