Latest from the Bridge Church

Hello there Bridge Church Family!

Pastor Rob here, and I just want to take a moment to tell you how proud I am of you all. This past Sunday, we kicked off our LOVE CARD experiment, and you absolutely blew me away—over 160 Love Cards were given out!

I can’t wait to hear the stories about how you’re using those cards to “pay it forward” as you strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. These simple acts of kindness are opening doors for people to experience Jesus in a real way through you. And so, if you didn’t get a chance to grab a Love Card last weekend….don’t worry….because we’ll be sure to have a fresh stock available this Sunday—so be sure to pick some up!

Also, this Sunday we are continuing with week #2 of our powerful new message series that we’re calling, "LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR," where I’ll be sharing a message titled "Five Reasons to Reach Out in Love" directly from 1 John 4:7-21. In this message we are going to be learning about how God’s love changes absolutely everything. This passage is going to challenge and inspire us to love others the way Jesus loves us. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!

WORSHIP LED BY MAGGIE FOLKERS!
I’m also excited to let you know that our very own Maggie Folkers will be leading worship at the Bridge this Sunday! Here’s what we’ll be singing together:

:musical_note: I Am Free
:musical_note: Don’t Stop Now
:musical_note: Amazing Love
:musical_note: One Thing Remains

 BANANA BREAD BUFFET – This Sunday!
Also, did you know that this Sunday is National Banana Bread Day? Well, we couldn’t let that pass us by! And so right after the service, join us in the Welcome Center for a FREE Banana Bread Buffet. Come hungry, bring friends, and enjoy a fun time of church-family fellowship together!

LAUNCHING: LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR GROUPS
We’re also excited to kick off our brand-new 8-week "Love Your Neighbor Groups" this Sunday!
  • Already in a small group? Join us on this new journey together!
  • Not in a group yet? No worries! Sign up this weekend and we’ll give you a FREE copy of the book “The Relationship Principles of Jesus” by Pastor and theologian Tom Holladay to help you dive deeper into this series.

Our new “Love Your Neighbor Groups” are going to be a perfect opportunity to build community, grow in your faith, and live out Jesus’ command to love those around you, just as we read in 1 John 3:18 where the Apostle John tells us: ”Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

Church, God is moving in powerful ways at The Bridge, and I truly believe the best is yet to come. And so, let’s keep loving, serving, and reaching out together. Bring your Bibles, invite your friends, and come expecting God to do something amazing in your life and in the lives of those around you!

See you Sunday—can’t wait to worship with you!

Pastor Rob

Food Pantry Update:
Another successful pantry on Thursday. We are so filled with God's love and the bread he continues to bring providing so much food for our neighbors. This week we were told several times how great The Bridge pantry is and we can't thank each if you in the church enough for your support. Whether it be prayer or volunteering, God is always at work and we can't do this without each of you. In His Service, The Food Pantry Team
