Happy Friday Bridge Church!

You’re getting this message today, because this Sunday at The Bridge is truly going to be one for the books…and I want each and every one of you to be a part of it!

First off, just in case you didn’t know, this weekend is actually Thanksgiving Sunday at The Bridge Church. And because of that, we have an absolutely incredible morning planned for you all. To start with, pastor Phil and I are going to be teaming up to teach on 1 Thessalonians 5:11-24, as we dive into the beauty of biblical gratitude and the power of giving thanks. And so, if you’ve ever wondered how biblical gratitude can supernaturally transform both your heart and your life, then this message is for you.

But then, to make the day even sweeter, this Sunday morning we’re celebrating Thanksgiving with a FREE Mashed-Potato Mini Bar after the service in the Welcome Center! We’ll have all the trimmings—chives, bacon bits, cheese, sour cream, and so much more—because let’s face it, who doesn’t love a little mashed potato magic in their lives? Not only that, but here’s why this is the perfect Sunday to invite a friend, family member, neighbor, or co-worker with you to church:

  • First, this Sunday we are going to officially unveil all of the extremely exciting activities that are planned for Christmas at The Bridge with a special promo video. Which means that this weekend, you’ll get a sneak peek at what’s coming up in December, and trust me, you’ll want to mark your calendars!

  • Second, this Sunday we’re also going to be celebrating communion together, which is a powerful moment to remember and reflect on the unfathomable depths of Jesus’ love for us that was displayed on the cross.

  • And not only that, but this Sunday we are also going to be looking ahead to Baptism Sunday on December 1st, where six (and counting!) people are going to be taking the bold and courageous step of going public with their faith through baptism.

So bring your Bible, bring a friend, and bring your heart ready to worship…because this is a Sunday that is simply jam-packed with celebration, community, and God’s Word!

And so, as your pastor, I am praying that this weekend will remind us all of God’s goodness and inspire us to live out a heart of gratitude every single day. Let’s pack the room, lift our voices, and let God move in mighty ways.

See you Sunday at 10 a.m. at The Bridge!

Warmly,
Pastor Rob
The Bridge Church

P.S. Don’t wait—text a friend today and invite them to join you! Remember, everyone loves an invitation.
