Latest from the Bridge Church
Dear Bridge Family,
I can hardly wait for this weekend, and I hope you’re just as excited as I am about all that is happening at The Bridge Church this Sunday!
First off, Pastor Phil is going to be closing out our incredible series, We Are The Church, with a message straight from Acts 20:17-24. Together, we’ll explore the biblical priorities of a disciple-maker, as modeled by the Apostle Paul. This message will challenge and inspire us to live out our faith in ways that truly make a difference.
On top of that, we’ve also got an amazing time of worship planned for this Sunday! I (Pastor Rob) am thrilled to be co-leading this weekend with our amazing Worship Arts Intern, Elizabeth Kirk. And Elizabeth will also be blessing us with her beautiful cello-playing during worship. Her talent is such a gift, and I know it will make our time of singing even more powerful and worshipful.
But that’s not all! Did you know that this Sunday is National Homemade Bread Day? And so, because of that, after the service, we will be serving FREE homemade bread from Reno’s very own House of Bread in the Welcome Center. What better way to enjoy some fellowship than sharing delicious, fresh-baked bread with friends and family?
This Sunday is a perfect opportunity to invite someone to church. They’ll encounter Jesus, be moved by powerful worship, and enjoy a warm, welcoming community. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Let’s take this to heart and invite someone to experience the love of Christ this weekend!
And one more thing for all you Christmas enthusiasts: after the service, we’re hosting our very first rehearsal for the Bridge Church caroling group! If you’d like to join us in spreading Christmas cheer at our kickoff event on Sunday, December 1st, just meet us in the Welcome Center right after worship. No experience needed—just a joyful heart and a love for singing!
I’m praying for you and for all God is going to do in and through us this weekend. Let’s be the Church, friends—ready to worship, grow, and share the Good News with others!
See you Sunday!
In Christ,
Pastor Rob

Kids Kingdom News:
We started a new unit called Star Voyager. On our voyage through outer space, we will learn our true identities as we discover exactly who God says we are. I am excited to see where God will take us with this. We started working on our Christmas Eve program. We are doing The 12 Days of Christmas. We will be performing during Christmas Eve Service. I will be sending home copies of the words with the children. Those with speaking parts will also have their cards. I hope everyone will be able to attend and share this with us. Invite all your friends and family. It will be a time to remember. If you have anything relating to the 12 Days, if we could borrow it, we would be grateful. Can't wait to see everyone this Sunday. Remember to pray for each other. -Miss Terry
