Dear Bridge Family and Friends,
I wanted to remind you that this Sunday we will host our annual “Worship on the Grounds” event. We will come together with The Bridge Church Spanish Springs and have our worship service outside in the courtyard with a cookout and potluck afterwards (please see announcement below for food assignments). This will be a family service therefore there will be no Kids Kingdom or nursery. We will also not be hosting the service online. This will be a great opportunity to invite family and friends so don’t come alone. Also in observance of Memorial Day the church office will be closed Monday May 27th.

Coming up:
Worship on the Grounds and cookout: Sunday May 26th 10am – 1pm
To honor memorial day we will come together with the Spanish Springs campus and have our worship service outdoors on the patio. This will be a family event and there will be no Kids Kingdom that morning. Following the service we will have a delicious barbeque lunch and potluck. Hamburgers, hotdogs, Chicken, and drinks will be provided. If your last name begins with A-H please bring a salad, if your last name begins with I-P please bring a side dish, if your last name begins with Q-Z please bring a dessert.
Photo album tribute for Bill and Kim: Now though the end of June
We would like to invite you to participate in helping us build a photo album tribute for Bill and Kim West. If you would like to participate you can send us a digital picture of yourself or family with a greeting to Bill and Kim. In the months ahead we will put this book together and send it to them. You can send your photos to pics@thebridgereno.com
Baptism Class: June 2nd after church in the learning center
If you are interested in being baptized or just want to know what the scriptures say about baptism, we will be hosting a baptism class on Sunday June 2nd after service. Please sign up using the connection card on The Bridge Church App or by going to https://thebridgereno.com/connect
PILSOS Craft Fair Friday June 7th 2-8pm The Bridge Church Reno – Katie’s Garden
One of our partners: The Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Organization of the Sierras will be hosting a craft fair in Katie’s garden on the afternoon/evening of Friday, June 7th from 2-8pm. Come out to support them and those that have lost a child too soon. There will be local artists and vendors plus a raffle to enter. Admission is free for all.

If you are new to The Bridge Church this is a great place to learn all about our mission and vision and why we believe God has placed us here in this neighborhood. You will learn all about how we are reaching our community and world, you will also have the opportunity to become a member. Discovering My Ministry Class Sunday June 9th at 11:30am The Bridge Church Reno- conference room
If you have said yes to Jesus and have started a relationship with Him then you have been given at least one spiritual gift. This class focuses on discovering that gift as well as how you can use your talents, abilities, and past experiences all together to serve God. In this class we will develop your personal ministry profile and work towards discovering how God has uniquely shaped you to further His Kingdom. Blood Drive Sunday June 9th 9 – 11:30am The Bridge Church Reno
Please consider giving blood. Your blood donation means everything. To the emergency team working around the clock. To the loved ones anxiously waiting for news. To the patient desperate to recover. Be a hero a donate blood. To schedule an appointment visit https://thebridgereno.com/donateblood
Kids Kingdom News: We are so excited about Worship on the Grounds this Sunday. Just a reminder, we will not have Kids Kingdom this Sunday. We will all be outside for Worship on the Grounds. Afterward we will all share a meal. Can't wait to see everyone there. ** We will be needing some volunteers on Saturday Morning around 10:00 to help set things up for Sunday. Also we will be needing help with tearing down and putting everything back together after we are done on Sunday. Many hands will make light work. ** You will not have to bring serving utensils for your food on Sunday. The Church has plenty and this way you will not lose yours. Thank you ahead of time.
