Don’t Forget
Hey Bridge Church Family,
Don’t forget, today, Christmas Eve Services: We will not have a morning service, instead we will have two Christmas Eve candlelight services in the evening at 3:00 and 4:30pm. This is a great opportunity to invite family and friends to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Parents, children will be invited on stage to join us as we sing Silent Night for the candle lighting portion.
Food Pantry Update: We have some fantastic news from our food pantry. Starting January 4ththey will now be open one evening a month. In addition to the first and third Thursday from 8 – 10am they will now also be open the first Thursday of the month from 5 – 7pm. We have been serving 70-80 families each time we open the pantry so this should allow us to serve even more. Please let us know if you are interested in helping with the food pantry, we are always looking for more volunteers. Also, this month we are collecting canned chili and dish soap to stock the pantry with. You can drop it off any time during church office hours.
Year End Gifts: The end of the year is approaching fast, there is only a few more days to give a year-end financial gift. For the past several years our giving in December has been over 70k. As of December 20th, we are just over 20k for this month. Please pray and give as God directs. Our goal is to finish the year in a strong financial position.
•This will allow the search team to know that the money needed to search for a new pastor is provided.
•It will also give the church a head start on additional expenses that will be needed to bring the new pastor to the church.
•It will help us begin 2024 in a strong financial position to deepen and expand ministries. Thank you for thoughtfully praying about this.
Kids Kingdom News: Christmas Eve- there will be no Kids Kingdom in the morning but will be having two evening services. One at 3:00 and the other at 4:30, and the great thin is our children will be singing "Silent Night" at both of them. If you can get here at least 15 minutes before the service so we can practice with our candles (Battery powered of course). We are excited to be a part of the service this year. If you can stay for both services that would be a blessing. There will not be Kids Kingdom, only the Nursery will be open. Thank you all and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
