Bridge Ministry Update

Bridge Family and Friends,

Following God’s will for our lives is both challenging and rewarding.  It always requires some kind of sacrifice and change that may be difficult, but the end result means that we get to see more people come into God’s kingdom and we get to grow in our walk with Christ.  I believe God is calling all of us to take that next step into the future He has for us as we close our 2023 and head into 2024.

Last week I shared with you that over the last three years as a church, we have averaged giving over $70,000 during the month of December.  As of December 20, 2023, we have given $21,500.00 this month.

As we end the year in just a few days, let me ask you to pray for $70,000.00 or more this December.   Here’s why I am asking you to pray and participate in this:
  •  It will allow the Search Team to know that the money needed to search for a new pastor is provided.
  • It will give the church a head start on additional expenses that will be needed to bring a new pastor to the Bridge Church next year.
  • It will help us begin 2024 in a strong financial position to deepen and expand ministries in 2024.

I know that we can trust God to provide that amount or more to help us as we end this year, but it will require some sacrifices from us.  I am asking you to join with me, the Board and others as seek to faithfully follow God into the future He has for all of us.  Please give in whatever manner God is directing you as we end this year.  No gift is too small.

God has been faithful to provide for us in the past and we can trust Him to continue to do so now. You can give in the following ways:

1. Give online https://thebridgereno.com/giving
2. Give when you attend in person.
3. Give through the mail. All gifts must be postmarked by midnight on December 31, 2023.
4. Give stock or securities donations as well. Please contact the church office at 775-323- 7141 and we can help you give this way if that is your preference.

I love you all and can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us.

Blessings,

Pastor Bill
