Hello Bridge Family and Friends,
This is the time of year we ask you to submit names of those whom you believe would serve the church and our Lord Jesus Christ well as a member of the Board of Trustees. At our Annual Meeting this past January we voted to change number on the Board of Trustees in our bylaws from four people to six. Our bylaws state this:
Any active Member of the Bridge Church may submit a signed letter or email to the Pastor or Board for the purpose of recommending a potential Trustee of good character and commitment to the mission of the Church.
We ask that you submit those names by Sunday, October 22, 2023. We will be adding two new members to our Board of Trustees for 2024.
One another note, I hope that you are beginning to catch the idea of Oikos as we teach, read, and talk about it on our small groups. I am praying that God will allow many of us to see the people He has supernaturally and strategically placed in our lives come to know Jesus. I trust that you are praying the same as well.
I look forward to seeing you Sunday as we discuss “Understanding the Gospel”. We all need to know it for our own lives and to be able to share it with others.

Financial Update: August 30, 2023
Budget: $304,000 Income: $319,808 Expenses: $304,647
UpComing Events:
Guest Speaker: Gilbert Foster (Executive Director for Growing Healthy Churches and When I Grow Up) will be speaking on Sunday morning October 8th at church. Gilbert is a dynamic and powerful speaker and you will not want to miss him as he joins us for our “oikos” series.
CARS Clinic: Saturday Oct 14th 9am: If you are a single mother or older person and in need of regular maintenance or small minor repairs on your vehicle; please sign up for our CARS clinic. On Oct 14th at 9am the CARS team will be at the church helping with those things. Please sign up at thebridgereno.com/cars Also if you have any experience doing small repairs of maintenance on cars we would love the help.
Church Campus Workday: Saturday Oct 14th 8am -Noon
There are a number of small work projects such as landscaping, some painting, etc. that we need help with around the church campus. Breakfast will be provided. We hope you will join us to keep the property looking good. Sign up on Sunday:

You will learn all about how we are reaching our community and world, you will also have the opportunity to become a member.
