Latest from the Bridge
Hello Family and Friends,
I hope that you have taken some time over the last few days to express your gratitude to God and others for their involvement in your life.
This Sunday we will end our Rooted series together as we talk about the Church and celebrate Baptisms and Communion together. I have been encouraged by the way that our small groups have grown during this series and the stories of personal growth that has been shared with me by so many.
Community Partnership Need: We are beginning to receive more requests for financial help from many who are in needs and our funds have dropped significantly. If you are able to give a little extra to the Community Partnership Fund this month, please do so.
UpComing Events:
Caring Christmas Tree November 27-December 18: You will have the opportunity to select gifts to provide for those in need this Christmas both online and in person beginning this Sunday and returning them to the church no later than Sunday, December 18, 2022.
Mexico Missions Trip Commitment Meeting: Sunday, December 4th.
Choir Christmas Concert Sunday December 11th at both services 9:00 and 10:30 am. This is one service you will not want to miss and one that you should begin now to invite family, friend, neighbors and co-workers to come.
Starting Point Class, Sunday December 11th at 11:45 am: This class is designed for those who are new at the Bridge and want to have their questions answered about us and for those who are considering becoming a member. Sign up here: thebridgereno.com/startingpoint.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services at 3:00 and 4:30 pm. Begin now to invite your family and friends.
No Services on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25th.
Sunday, January 1, 2023, 10:00 am Service Only: We will have only one service at 10:00 am on New Year's Day.
Financial Update through November 15, 2022
Income: $413,474 Expenses: $459,110
We are grateful for your continued giving. But, as you can see, our expenses are about $46,000.00 more than our income for this year. We are working hard to hold back expenses and invite you to join us in payer as we trust God to provide and faithfully give as He directs.
Have a great day and look forward to worshiping with you tomorrow.
Blessings,
Pastor Bill
