HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your family. I am so grateful for the Bridge Church Family and your love for Jesus and for people. I am consistently blown away by your generosity and service right here in Northern Nevada. It is my privilege to serve alongside all of you. May this be ab incredibly blessed Thanksgiving for you!!!
Here’s a brief update on some of the ways you have served this community in the last few weeks:
Operation Christmas Child: 94 shoeboxes are now making their way to children in a different part of the world where they will receive gifts of live and the opportunity to hear the story of Jesus, many for the first time in their lives.
Blood Drive: Sunday, November 14th: Enough blood was received that will be able to help and save up to 39 lives.
Thanksgiving Meals Give-Away: We have had to close sign-ups a week early because we have had 1,500 that have responded to receive a Thanksgiving Dinner Kit.
Food Pantry Update: Since 2015 the Bridge has given away over 537,631 pounds of food to those in need in our Community.
This week we talk about “Joy in All Circumstances” as we wrap up our study of Philippians. We will address the issue of “contentment” and as we head into the holiday season we all need the reminder that our lives do not consist of what we have…
Financial Update for October 31, 2021:
Monthly Need: $43,158 Income: $36,541 Expenses: $41,894
Year to Date: Budget: $415,407 Income: $402,688 Expenses: $405,642
Welcome Center: $312,788
Our giving to the General Fund has dropped over the last couple of months. Please pray with me for God to provide for our financial needs and even more as we head into the end of the year.
