Serving Sunday A Success!!!

Serving Sunday a Success!!!

Great work for all of our teams this last Sunday as we were out in the community serving Project 150, Hunter Lake Elementary School, Crisis Pregnancy Center Fallon, Awaken House and even our own Food Pantry!!!

Here are some of the comments I received:
“This beautiful work of art makes such a difference for our kindergarten students! It brought me to tears when I saw it!”  - Hunter Lake Principal

“The Bridge Team was wonderful with the work they did both inside and outside Project 150 House.  They have set us up for success as we serve.”  - Project 150 Representative

“The yard at the Awaken House house looks better than it ever has. The Bridge team did an amazing job. Thank you for loving and serving our community. “ - Awaken Representative

Thanks to everyone who served our community so well.  Blessings to you.

The Bridge Church Picnic is this Sunday from 12:00-2:00 pm at the Peavine Pavilion in San Rafael Park.  (1595 N. Sierra St.). After our hard work last week on Serving Sunday, we will come together with our sister church in Spanish Springs and celebrate with our annual church picnic.  We’ll provide the hamburgers and hot dogs and bottled water.  Please bring either of the following based off the first letter of your last name.
A-L: Bring a side dish to share
M-Z: Bring a dessert to share

This Sunday, we also begin a new series “Joy in Chains!” In a time of chaos and uncertainty it’s easy to become cynical and negative.  We will study the book of Philippians where the Apostle Paul teaches us how to have joy when the circumstances of life are going against you.  I hope you will join us

Thanks so much for your generous support of this ministry. Your gifts are making a real difference in the lives of so many here in Reno and literally around the world. Blessings to all of you.  I look forward to Sunday as we gather for worship.  Have a great day.
