UpComing News!

Hello Family and Friends,

As we continue to deal with the uncertainty that is facing all of us, I pray that we all will seek God’s wisdom to live out our faith as we have never done before. We need the qualities only He can give to live and love and He has called us to.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” (James 3:17)

We will talk about “Dealing with Conflict” from James 4:1-12 on Sunday and we will conclude our service with Communion. There is so much conflict all around us, we all need the wisdom that James gives us on how to deal with the conflict that comes. I hope you will join us.

Don’t forget to sign-up for live in-person worship at 9:00 or 10:30 am this Sunday, by going to our website: https://thebridgereno.com/.  For those who prefer to stay home and worship, join our live stream services on Facebook at 9:00 and 10:30 am https://www.facebook.com/theBridgeReno/.  Please be ready to share Communion with us.

As our kids prepare to get back to school in a few weeks, we are trying to put together as many backpacks as possible for those who need them from our Church and Community. Sunday, August 9th is BackPack Sunday. Please click this link to find out how you can put together one for a child in need. https://thebridgereno.com/backpacksunday/

Financial Update: July 22, 2020

Budget: $36,000 Income: $31,436 Expenses: $43,436

Thank You for your continued financial support.  As you can see our expenses are up this month due to some extra expenses with COVID preparations and with taking back on some items we were able to defer for a couple of months. Your gifts continue to make a difference in the lives of people.  Many of you have either mailed your gifts or begun using our online giving option. You can text thebridgereno to 77977 to give online as well. We are thankful for God’s provision for us and for your generosity.

I’m looking forward to worshipping with you this Sunday.

Blessings to you,

Pastor Bill
