The God You Need!

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are looking forward to worshiping with us tomorrow at 10:30 am on you can join us at or here .

We begin a new teaching series; “The God You Need!”  This teaching series will focus on expanding our thoughts and understanding about God at this challenging time.  Our hope is that you will begin to see the God of the Scriptures is truly the God that we need in our lives right now!

Pastor Danny will speak tomorrow of the Sovereignty of God, reminding us that in a world that is out of control we need a God is who is in control even today.  You’re gonna want to hear what he has to say.  You can prepare by reading Isaiah 46:3-13.

Our small groups are still meeting digitally at this time.  I am grateful for the way people are reaching out and staying in touch with each other.  If you would like to join a small group, please email me at and I’ll get you connected as soon as possible.

On another note, I know many of you are concerned about our finances and so are we.  Just so you know, our giving is down about 25% over the last few weeks.   We know that you are a generous church and understand your ability to give has rapidly changed.  We realize that many of you have lost jobs or had hours cut; this a hard time for everyone.  The Board, staff and I are still reworking the budget as we move forward and hope to have that in place by the end of this month.

Thank You for your continued financial support.  Many of you have been mailing your gifts to the Church. Some have moved to online giving.  You can give online here: or by texting “the Bridge Reno “to 77977.  I am grateful for God’s faithfulness to all of us. Your gifts continue to make a difference in the lives of people.  Here’s one example:

We gave out well over 100 bags of food this past Thursday at the Food Pantry.  We will do it again on Thursday, April 30th. Please pass that information along to anyone in need.  Or, if you know of someone in need now, please call me at 775-722-1670 and I’ll make certain we help them get some food.

One Food Pantry Need: Paper Grocery Bags.  If you have any you can donate, please put them in the green receptacle located by the Church Office.

We’re in this together.  Please stay in touch and let us know if you need anything at all. I love you all and can’t wait to “see” you tomorrow and worship our mighty God with you. Blessings!

Pastor Bill
