We are so excited and looking forward to seeing you again starting Sunday, June 21. We will have services at 9:00, and 10:30 am in two venues: The Worship Center and the Kids Kingdom Large Room (Livestream) with 50 or less in each room.

We do ask that you register for which service you will attend by clicking here.

We do understand if you are not comfortable with being out in a group of people yet. Please stay home. We will continue to Livestream our services and record them to make available for anyone to watch online at any time.

The Bridge Church is dedicated to the health and well-being of our church members and guests. In adherence to the CDC’s recommendation and Nevada’s requirements, the following are expected of those attending services on Sunday:

• Please stay home if you or any member of your family is exhibiting any flu-like symptoms.

• All staff, volunteers, and attendees are expected to practice safe social distancing before, during, and after services.

• All staff, volunteers, and attendees over the age of 2 are required to wear masks when you are inside the building. If you do not have your own mask, one will be provided for you. If you are opposed to wearing a mask, that’s 100% ok; please stay home until the mask requirement has been lifted.

• All registered attendees will be admitted 15 minutes prior to the start of service at your respective venue.

• Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available throughout the building.

• We will have no children’s ministry at this time, but children are welcome to attend with and sit with their parents.

We STRONGLY URGE Vulnerable populations to stay home, including those:

• 65 years and older;
• With chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma;
• With serious heart conditions.
• Those who are immunocompromised.
• Those who are pregnant; and
• Determined to be high risk by a licensed healthcare provider

Above All:
This has been a time of great challenge for us. On Sunday, June 21, I’m sure there will be an issue or two, something we didn’t think about. Please be patient as this is the first time we have reopened our church after a global pandemic. A lot of people are working hard to make sure our building is as safe as it can possibly be. We will also clean the rooms in-between the services. We want to create a safe, friendly, and exciting environment for connecting with God and each other.

Please know that our goal remains, and always has been to Build Bridges for people to come to Jesus and Grow in His Grace.   We are looking forward to seeing you all very soon!

COVID-19 Response Plans

May 22, 2020

Dear Bridge Church Friends and Family,

I trust that you all are doing well and staying healthy.  I am so grateful for all of you and the support that you have continued to give to the mission and vision of the Bridge Church.  God is still doing great things in the lives of people because of your commitment to Christ and your love for this community.

I wanted to send out our response to the Governor’s Roadmap for Recovery for Nevada and how we plan to move forward through the different phases he has set up for us.  I know we are all ready to get back to meeting together but we also want to do so in a safe and responsible way.  Just so you know, we are in the process of deep cleaning and sanitizing all of our facilities as we look forward to returning to live services as soon as possible.

Below are the plans that the staff, Board and I have put together for us.  Please understand that this is based on the information that we may have today.  We will continue to keep you informed as we move forward in each step of the way.

The Bridge Church Reno Campus COVID-19 Response Plan to Nevada’s
“Roadmap to Recovery”

Nevada is now in Phase 1 of 4 Phases that determine how quickly certain parts of our economy and state will reopen. Please be assured that we have had and will continue to have many discussions regarding our response to the local and state guidelines, and we will continue to follow the guidelines in Nevada’s Roadmap to Recovery.

Link: https://nvhealthresponse.nv.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/NEVADA-UNITED-ROADMAP-TO-RECOVERY.pdf.

Listed below is how The Bridge Church plans to proceed through all these Phases.  We will not set specific dates to move to a different Phase or to open our facilities for meetings and events, including Sunday Worship services at this time. We will continue to monitor all communication from the Governor’s office and respond to the information as it is provided for us and possibly revise these plans as necessary.

Phase 1 –This is the phase we are now in.  It has the strictest requirements due to concern about the spread of the virus, where we have the most responsibility of doing our part to keep social distancing (6’ apart) and wear masks.

During this phase, the following remains in place:

  • Church Service: Online only (Facebook/YouTube/ The Bridge Website: ZOOM Lobby afterward)
  • Small Groups: Online only at this time
  • Counseling: Online only (Zoom / Phone)
  • Special Events: Cancelled
  • Staff Location: Work from home if possible; otherwise, maintain social distancing while in the office

Phase 2 – This phase allows for the lightening of restrictions toward gatherings and allows small groups of people to gather together. It is expected that no more than 50 people can congregate in this phase, with limitations adjusted as we near Phase 3.

During this phase, we anticipate the following will be in place:

  • Church Services: Online only (Facebook/YouTube/ The Bridge Website: ZOOM Lobby afterward)
  • Small Groups: Online or in-person based on groups size and willingness to meet and maintain social distancing
  • Counseling: Online only (Zoom / Phone)
  • Special Events: Cancelled
  • Staff Location: Work from home if possible; otherwise, maintain social distancing while in the office

Phase 3 – Allows for the gathering of larger groups of people. At this time, our local government has yet to provide specific guidelines regarding the size of these gatherings.  As we get more clarity and move closer to this phase, church staff and the Board of Trustees will determine which activities to allow during this phase, with the priority being the safety and security of those who gather. Our goal is to resume in person Sunday services when groups of 100 or more can all meet with no restrictions in regard to social distancing.

During this phase, we anticipate the following will be in place:

  • Church Service Possibly in Person and Online (Facebook/YouTube/ The Bridge Website: ZOOM Lobby afterward)
  • Small GroupsIn-person with possibly some Zoom groups as well
  • Counseling: In-person and Zoom possibly
  • Special Events: May resume within numerical guidelines
  • Staff Location: All Staff on-premises

Phase 4 – Back to pre-COVID operations

  • Church Services: In-person and Online will continue
  • Small Groups: In-person and possibly zoom as well
  • Counseling: In-person
  • Special Events: Can resume with no restrictions
  • Staff Location: All Staff on-premises

Children’s Ministry: Our Kids Kingdom is currently providing resources for families to access online every week.  We will hold a Virtual Kids Summer Camp dates will be posted later.  We will continue to discuss and monitor the best way to minister to children and families during these different phases as we move forward and keep you informed you along the way.   For more information, please contact chelsea@thebrigereno.com.
