Easter Series

Hello Bridge Family and Friends,

This Sunday, we begin our Easter series entitled the Final Day. We will be taking a look at the last hours of Jesus Life before his Crucifixion.  Pastor Phil will be speaking on “Agony in the Garden.” We are digging into these last hours of Christ’s life to help us better understand what He faced and why He did it.  This is a great series to invite your family and friends to join us as we explore the great sacrifice of the Son of God for us.

Please go to www.thebridgereno.com  to sign-up to join us in-person or join us online at 9:00 or 10:30 am Sunday at https://www.facebook.com/theBridgeReno/, we can now have approximately 70 people in each service.  Be sure to invite your family and friends to join us.

Chelsea Appreciation: This Sunday, March 7th from 11:30 am-1:00 pm in the Kids Kingdom area. We will have an open house that allows for social distancing so that you may come and go as you would like. There will be some light refreshments.  We want to give everyone an opportunity to express their appreciation to Chelsea for her over 8 years of service here.

Moving Forward: Please pray for God’s direction to the staff and the Board as we seek His will for us here at the Bridge. We will address areas of Chelsea’s responsibilities in two ways.

  • Short term: We are working to make certain the areas of Kids Kingdom, Finances, and Benevolence is covered immediately working with volunteers.
  • Long Term: We will take some time to prayerfully consider how we approach these needs. We will keep you informed as we do.

Welcome Center Update: We have received an updated proposal for the building costs and will be providing an update on the Welcome Center for you in the next couple of weeks.

Financial Update: February 28, 2021

Monthly Budget: $42,108   Income: $35,327    Expenses: $39,651

Welcome Center: $154,884

Thanks so much for your commitment to this ministry to Build Bridges for people to come to Christ and grow in His grace.  I look forward to worshiping you Sunday.

Blessings,

Pastor Bill
